The Science Behind GoPodz®?
Did you know? Most of what we experience as “taste” actually comes from scent. Our tongues can only detect basic tastes like sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. The unique flavor experience — like what makes watermelon taste like watermelon — comes from a process called retronasal olfaction. GoPodz® uses this science to transform plain water into a flavorful experience in a completely new way.
How the pod works?
At the core of the GoPodz® system is the scent pod. Each pod contains carefully crafted aromas inspired by fruits, drinks, herbs, and more, stored inside a semi-permeable scent material. As you sip, air flows through the pod and carries the aroma through the straw, creating a flavorful drinking experience while you’re still only drinking pure water.
